Down to the Wire

Many Happy Congratulation Wishes to the Graduates of 2010!! Especially those that have been with me since the beginning of their time (or mid-way)! Lots to look forward to. 

I received many emails about final grades...you guys did ALL that reading, but didn't read your syllabus well (lol)... I don't give out grades via email, not ever. Additionally, in case I wasn't the only professor that was beyond your more "timely professors," grades are not officially due until June 6th! I bet they forgot to tell you that.

When You Love Your Job...You'll Feel It

There are times you realize that you have arrived. There are other times when what you do makes you second guess your choices. Then, there are times, you just don’t consider your ontological experiences as much as you should. Today I think I had all three. I haven’t had a class, or day, like today, in a LONG time. Jan Brewer a bill Thursday that would ban ethnic studies programs in the state that critics say currently advocate separatism and racial preferences. The bill, which passed 32-26 in the state House, had been approved by the Senate a day earlier. It now goes to Gov. Jan Brewer for her signature.
